The Fort Oglethorpe POST Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit society that receives no government or military funding. The Preservation of Stories and Times (POST) exists because of the generous support of individuals like you!

The Partners of the POST is a special group of friends who wish to sustain the future of the Fort Oglethorpe Army Post and the legacy of the men and women who served here.

Your membership supports POST exhibits, school days, living history exhibits, patriotic programs and activities that engage the public in remembering the Post.

We are working to provide new services, such as genealogy resources and a reading room to expand our collections. Some of our current programs include school days, special group tours, traveling exhibits, art classes, history classes and special camps
